17 weeks pregnant

Just to mention that I will do my next belly shot next week.

How far along: 17 weeks 2 days

Baby size: avocado

Total weight gain/loss: +4 pounds

Sleep: Better, up peeing alot though.

Movement: Yeah, wriggling and kicking away now :) best feeling ever!

Food cravings/aversions: Okay I know what my official craving is after two to three weeks of having to have it daily. Cheese! Any cheese, all cheese, cheese on toast to macaroni cheese. Gone of pickled things still.

Pregnancy symptoms: Leg strain, sore back and headaches. I did have general all over toothache. Babies also been sitting quite low, especially since I've been in work, on my feet for 4 hours. Infact so low, that when I do eventually sit down I feel the baby pushing up.

What I miss: Not very much. I'm a bridesmaid next week for one of my best friends, she had a hen do last weekend and I missed the sleepover part because of my back problems and in fear of not being well as a result of lack of sleep. Like I say in the vlog, back problems seem to be going now. :)

What I'm looking forward to: Our next scan is the middle of February, which is the 20 week scan and next week being a bridesmaid! I've never been one before so the first time I am I'll be carrying my baby. Will be cool in years to come to look back at photos and show the baby the picture :)

Milestones: Feeling pregnant just generally. Bump is getting bigger and I'm getting to know the baby more and more every day, habits and when he or she is likely to move.

Best moment of this week/Pregnancy moments with the hubby: Watching programmes like 'one born every minute'. He gets so emotional (as do I) and is learning alot. He also talked about the possiblity of me having a water birth and how he might get in the tub, (just for the labour part) to hold my hand and comfort me. Made a bit teary when said it.

15 weeks pregnant

How far along: 15 weeks

Baby size: The size of an apple or orange
Total weight gain/loss: Stayed the same
Sleep: Getting harder, with back ache and indigestion
Movement: Yes! Finally! Wriggling and a few definite kicks
Food cravings/aversions: macaroni cheese, pasta dishes, baked potato, salads, fruit, sweets, curry and general meat. Gone off pickles, buhhhh.

Pregnancy symptoms: Same as last week really. When I sneeze it hurts my tummy and in the mornings I can feel my muscle stretching, heart burn, crying and getting cross for silly reasons.
What I miss: Not really missing anything at the moment. One thing that has changed, is the fact I used to spend quite a bit a month getting the right clothes for the month for work and life in general. Ever since being pregnant thats changed. I found fashionable clothes just aren't important. Of course ill make more of an effort now I'm going back to work, I have to, so it's not so much miss. Just my priorities have shifted. Plus I'm not comfy or fit in half the clothes I own now anyway.

What I'm looking forward to: Our next scan is the middle of February, which is the 20 week scan an I will be at the half way point.

Milestones: feeling baby!
Best moment of this week/Pregnancy moments with the hubby: Hearing the babies heart beat. Brought the biggest smile on our faces :)

Pregnancy Blog Number 1 for 2012

How far along: 13 weeks 5 days

Baby size: The size of a lemon
Total weight gain/loss: + 2pounds

Sleep: Good, I seem to wake up with heart burn a lot though and back ache.

Movement: Not that I can feel yet!
Food cravings/aversions: macaroni cheese, pasta dishes, baked potato, salads, fruit, sweets. I’ve been craving chocolate éclairs with cream in.

Pregnancy symptoms: nausea is passing, which is just amazing. It got so bad I was at the point of depression. Still feel sick every now and then but not all the time and is very much more manageable. When I sneeze it hurts my tummy and in the mornings I can feel my muscle stretching more and more.  Heart burns has made its debut this week, at 2 in the morning, which isn’t the best time of the day. A full glass of milk seemed to take it away and do the trick nicely.
What I miss: Would be cool if I could go a day without gagging. Although I don’t feel nauseas anymore I still gag really randomly or if I see something that causes an instant gag reaction.

What I'm looking forward to: Feeling the baby move and kick. Our next scan is the middle of February, which is the 20 week scan an I will be at the half way point.

Milestones: Heading into my second trimester, had a good few tests done. Some results back found out my blood type and everything’s okay so far. Also found out I’m immune to rubella so it means I’m a carrier.

Best moment of this week: seeing baby sucking their thumb at the scan and lifting his/her arms above its head just like its daddy does when he sleeps.

Pregnancy moments with the hubby: Deryck saying that the baby looked Egyptian at baby scan, the lady doing the scan thought it was very funny.
